Adult Sewing Classes

Friday Nights

Join me for two hours every other Friday night, beginning May 12th, 6:30 – 8:30. We’ll choose projects as we go based on interest – quilting, minor mending/alterations, wallet making, clothing construction, and all my tips and tricks.

Cost is $24/session* (plus supplies) or bundle and save! Four sessions for $90* (5% off) or Eight sessions for $173* (10% off).

Children’s Classes

Five sessions designed for the true beginner, a child unfamiliar with a sewing machine. Cost is $75 per child* plus supplies

Class 1: Getting to Know Your Sewing Machine
Class 2: Threading and Winding the Bobbin
Class 3: Cutting our Pillowcase
Class 4: Sewing our Pillowcase
Class 5: Machine Cleaning & Maintenance/Catch Up

Beyond Beginner Sewing Camp

Five straight days of sewing, 3 hours a day!!! Tentatively July 24-28th, Time TBD

Cost is $180*, plus supplies

This class is designed for teens, tweens or younger students with good familiarity with their sewing machine (and maybe a few projects under their belt).

Summer of Sewing

Not really a beginner anymore and looking for something more than just a week-long camp? Join the Summer of Sewing class each Wednesday Afternoon, tentatively starting Wednesday June 7th – August 9th. I’ll help you through the project you have in mind or we’ll come up with something together – I have lots of resources and ideas!

Half Summer of Sewing (Four 1.5 hour classes) – $70*

Full Summer of Sewing (Eight 1.5 hour classes) – $130*

*All payments must be paid 2 days before class start date. All classes must have a minimum of 3 participants. If your chosen class does not meet that minimum I will inform you of cancellation at least 1 day before class start date and promptly refund your class fee.

  2. Thanks for your vote, Malissa! If we do knits I’ll have a supply list for you, but mainly you would need a ball point/stretch needle. I last had my machine serviced at Strawberry Patches. The man who services them only comes once a week or every other week or something. I would call them ASAP for timing and price. Which knit project are you most interested in?
