This pattern went together like a dream. Have you ever made something with sleeves and the danged sleeve won’t fit right and you’re fighting it the whole way around? This sleeve fits PERFECTLY in the arms-eye. I couldn’t believe how wonderfully it fit. The design features look so professional, but couldn’t be easier. I had never made toggle closures before so that was a bit of a challenge, but I love the effect. So here are the details:

Pattern: Downton Duffle Coat by Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop

Main Fabric: Wool Blend Suiting Mini Plaid Green from Fabric.com – Can you believe it was $2.95/yard!? There are several colors at the price, so check it out!

Lining: Dark Green Polyester Twill Quilted Fabric found on ebay.com (I can’t believe I didn’t snap a picture of it – it made a great lining)

Toggle Buttons: SuppliesSundries on Etsy

The Camo Fleece, Green Vinyl and the cording for the toggles all came from F&M Fabrics locally.

If you love the Downton Duffle, you can pick it up on a great sale, going on now through Midnight on Saturday, November 30th. Just Click the image below to browse all the wonderful patterns available.
