Maybe you’ve been known to say you can’t even sew on a button, but you’d really love to learn to make cute things for your home or family. Or perhaps you’ve been sewing for a bit but you’re ready to take it to the next level.

I’m here to help! I’ve been sewing for 20+ years and love to share what I’ve learned about sewing machines, dressmaking, wallet/bag-making and quilting with you! I want to take the fear out of sewing and guide you through each step in a way that instills confidence in your growing skill and your ability to conquer projects in the future.

I currently offer an ongoing class each Monday afternoon, for all ages and skill level. Each person brings their own project to get help with and we all learn from what the other is making. Originally the day classes were geared for children 8 and up , but when sewing is a new skill for everyone I find the age guidelines can be super flexible. My hope is that you’ll find a welcoming community of learners, encouraging you on your journey. Classes are held in NE Bakersfield, in my City in the Hills home.

If you prefer to learn in your own home at your own pace, I also have an online course for getting to know all aspects of your sewing machine. Sewing Machine 101 is an in-depth class on how to use the features and accessories that came with your sewing machine. This could also be a great class to take before coming to local classes if you’re completely new to sewing.

Be sure to follow me on Facebook or Instagram and sign up on my email list to be the first to know about new classes and events! If I can answer any questions, please feel free to contact me.

I’m so glad you stopped by and I hope we’ll meet in class very soon!
