5th Annual Charity Bunco Event – Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House

Local friends, I have something fun and exciting to share with you today! If you are in Bakersfield, you may know how fortunate we are to have a Ronald McDonald House right here in town. From the BRMH Website, “ The Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House is a place where the families of Kern County pediatric or NICU patients can go to take a break from the hospital environment. A” home away from home” that gives the non-hospitalized part of the family a sense of normalcy in a time when their world is upside down.” We all know how important this type of comfort is in times of trouble, whether it be first hand or by walking side by side with a friend so this is definitely something I want to help support to make sure the BRMH is here for years to come.

For several years, five to be exact, my friends have organized a local fundraiser for the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House, A Charity Bunco Event night full of fun, desserts, bunco and silent auctions. In the last four years, this event has raise $30,000!! If you are interested, here are a few ways you can be involved.

1. Attend the event!
   

   Ticket includes:
   Dinner, Dessert & BuncoWe also have a silent auction, raffle tickets, red carpet photos, lots of giveaways through out the night, prizes for bunco winners and more. Entire proceeds from our event: ticket sells, raffle ticket and silent auction sells goes to the BRMH as a donation. So start talking with your girlfriends and collecting money for how many tickets you will need to purchase for your group. It’s a great Girls’ Night Out for a Great Cause!

2. Donate something for the silent auction! Each year I have been blessed to donate something, whether big or small, to help raise funds. This year, I am so excited to have my Batik Purple Safari Quilt up for auction!
