The Zippy Top
I may or may not have sewing ADD (I’ll never confess!), but when a great pattern company calls for testers, I love to jump in if I can swing it. Boy, am I glad I did this time cause I got in on testing SeeKateSew’s newest pattern, The Zippy Top! I absolutely love this pattern!…

I absolutely love this pattern! The modern, loose fit is great for easy, every day style. It went together in a flash and only uses 1-1 1/4 yard of fabric. Kate says, “This top is perfect for lightweight materials such as cotton voile, lawn, chiffon, lace and anything else with a nice soft drape.” I got this amazing graphic print and the zipper from F&M Fabrics, of course. It’s a new print so, if you’re local, head on over there and check it out! There are a lot of other great prints on that aisle so I’m pretty sure there will be more of these in my future.
The Zippy Top pattern comes with the options for cropped length or regular length (like the one I made) and I hear there will be a blog post soon on how to make it into a dress! So how’s that for versatile?! You’ll wear it again and again, I promise. Get your copy here and please share a photo if you make one!
nice one!! great happy fabric and I like the loop on the zipper; glad we are both “pattern memebers” at the sewaing rabbit!
Yes! It should be fun! Thank you for stopping by!
I’m pretty sure I have cross stitch ADD. 🙂 It’s always fun to see what you’re making!
Thank you Sarah – it’s hard not to be inspired (yes, that’s what I choose to call it!) haha
this is so cute Jaime!!! I love that fabric, what fun. You are going to get so much use out of this top!!!
Thank you!! I love it and already have fabric for more! 🙂
